4 Days Overdue & Counting...

Well, Miss Milloy has decided to make a fashionably late entrance into our family. Apparantly, she did not want July 24th to be her birthday! If she doesn't come by herself, she will be induced later this week. We are excited to meet her and see what she looks like!

Last Minute Things...

Well, we are as ready as we're ever going to be!
I have organized all the bibs, hooded towels, washcloths, headbands, bows, shoes, socks, and blankets.

The crib bedding project is finally complete! Wih lots of over the phone help from both of baby's grandmas (thank you!), my first sewing attempt seems to be successful! Not professional or perfect, but cute!

The $20 Queso Dip Bet

We went to dinner at Carlos O' Briens (a Mexican restaurant by my work) last week. After we were all stuffed full from dinner, Brandon gave Derrick $20 to eat the rest of the queso dip we ordered. Even though the queso dip had been sitting there for a half hour, $20 is $20.

What a sport! I think the mariachi band in the background is a special touch.

1 centimeter dialated!

I just got back from my weekly visit and I am officially 1 centimeter dialated! Progress! Hooray! I know all the veteran moms are rolling their eyes because you can walk around at 1 centimeter for a month and it doesn't really mean anything... but I'm excited! Baby's heart rate was 145 and my blood pressure is good too. Here is my weekly belly picture!

The PINK closet!

We have been gathering lots of baby things over the past few months in anticipation for little Miss Milloy's arrival. It has all been stored in a linen closet. I have just started to go through it all to take an inventory and find out what we still need. I LOVE that everything is pink, but every time I open that closet I have a little anxiety attack! It is unbelievable how much stuff babies need!

2 Weeks To Go!

Holy cow - that was a fast 9 months! She is still head down, but she is camped out up in my rib cage. Hopefully, she'll start moving down soon so I can breathe again. I have to say, for being nine months pregnant in Phoenix in July, I feel great. I'm not tired or sick or too uncomfortable. I don't think I want to be nine months pregnant for much longer, but this whole being pregnant thing isn't that bad. We are excited to meet our little girl and see what she looks like!

The Bump

3 weeks to go! At this week's doctor's appointment, Dr. Guzman said she has finally turned head down. Thank goodness!
